		<description>Thanks for stopping by, Joan!  I enjoyed re-visiting the Burchfiel church and cemetery, and finding Anderson&#039;s article about it was like a gift to understanding the history of the place.  

I have to wonder how many little churches and church families have been created across the United States by people such as those early pioneer families.  So many wonderful histories and I hope someone in each is capturing that precious history.</description>
